Commemoration of St Margaret Clitherow

On 30 August 2010 St Martin's was packed for a service to commemorate the Roman Catholic martyr St Margaret Clitherow. St Martin's was the church where she was baptised in about 1553, and where she married in 1571. 2010 was the fortieth anniversary of her canonisation.
